I am not sure if I should set anything in Apollo's console first. Use the drop-down menu to find the effect you’re looking for, or choose it from the Effects Rack to the left. Click the I button to enable monitor input. Basically I was going to record with the L22 directly into Audition and then play with the mic settings etc after the fact via the plugin to try to find a good sound for it. Click the R button in Track 1 to enable it to record and turn on the microphone.
Also, if someone can share or comment on my workflow for recording vocals in Adobe Audition using the L22 that would be awesome as I am fairly new to everything. I don't have any intention of giving up the microphone, I am just curious. I was able to pull up the plugin window for the L22 in Audition and make changes to a recording after the fact which was my goal/concern, however, I was also able to apply the L22 plugin to the beat so am now curious if there is a point to having the L22 microphone if I can just record the vocals on any microphone then use just the L22 plugins to simulate different mics/etc since the source file doesn't appear to have been needed to be recorded from the L22. I just got my L22 and Twin and am trying to use it in Audition so I don't have to learn new software.
